Evolt image, take 2!

So, John showed me how to do a thing.  :)

bwahahah!

Much cleaner.  Learning stuff, for the win!

Evolt day

 January 29, 2021

There's my news.

LOTS of good information on that page.  Like my BMR (not be confused with BMI).

My body composition is pretty good, just need to lower my fat content.  LOL!

I'm symmetrical ... arms and legs are basically 'the same' within a few ounces.

I hope that image is readable.  No idea.  Obviously I took a picture of the paper.

Gonna do it again in a month or so, see how much I've changed (if at all).

There's the promised evolt image.  Still haven't taken the 'before' pics, but I still consider myself 'before', since I'm still basically where I was when I started this whole thing.  But, on the plus side, I haven't gotten worse.  :D

Stay well, my friends.

Doing better

 January 15th

I'm doing a bit better with my PT exercises.  got home and did them yesterday.  Did them the day before, as well.  I think that feeling the twinges when I didn't do them, will make me do better for doing them.  Since there's a distinct negative reinforcement going on. If I do this, then that negative thing gets removed.  Yay for Psych 101.

Speaking of which... gonna go do them right now.  All done.
Positive reinforcement: feel stronger.
Negative reinforcement: no back pain later.

I'm at 188 pounds right now.  I still want to lose more weight, but I like food.  Sigh.  Still under 200, though.  So that's a win, I guess.  (I'm 45 years old, LOL.  I don't care about societal norms.)

Oddly, I had someone tell me "No way!" when I said I weighed almost 190 pounds.  I guess I hide it well.  At least until someone asks me when the baby is due.

Well, that's today, I guess.
Stay well, everybody!

Well, oops

 January 9th, 2021

I've been very bad about doing my physical therapy exercises.  Sigh. Might have to get John to nag me about them.

Tried to do the sled exercise this last Monday.  Nope.  That's a nope.  The moving part is too heavy to push with my damaged knees.  Too many broken moving parts in this old biddy.  Wound up exhausted for the rest of the day, and not able to eat.

I might see if there's some way to modify some other kind of exercise to do what that was supposed to do, BUT the therapist didn't put that in my papers, so not sure why she wanted me to do that.

I've added pushups into my workout, I might try some regular ones.  I've only ever done 'girly' pushups, using knees as the pivot point, instead of toes.  I could start on the stairs, to see if that helps.  I wanna do real pushups!

Just looked it up.  I've had a membership at Anytime Fitness since 2016.  Wow.  Haven't used it anywhere as much as I should have, but that's not a surprise.  Lots of people do the same.

I might go to the gym today, not 100% sure.  We'll see.  Only thing I really need the gym for is the recumbent bike.  Almost rather walk.  But it's icky out.
